General

This website is operated by White Lodge Fabric Limited, company registration no: 07867514 whose registered office is at ST21 6PG, United Kingdom.

The contract for goods ordered on this website is completed once we have delivered the goods to you subject to the correct delivery details being given.

The amount due from you is the amount specified on the website for the goods plus carriage, at the time of placing the order. All goods must be paid for before goods are despatched. If payment cannot be obtained or we have any doubts over the authenticity of the purchaser, we will take steps to contact you and this may result in a delay.

In certain circumstances, such as for large orders, we will insist that delivery is made only to the cardholder's billing address. This is for the security of both our customers and ourselves.

We are not liable for consequential loss, disappointment or other damage in relation to your order and will not pay compensation over and above the refund for the cost of the goods and/or services. This does not affect your statutory rights under consumer law or any liability we may have for death or personal injury due to our negligence.


Fabric

All fabric featured on this website is thought to be suitable for use in either stage, dance, evening wear, bridal wear, dress making or general costumes however no warranty can be given as the final use is outside the control of the company.

No fabric is deemed to be fireproof / flame retardant.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the fabric is suitable for use in the context of local laws and regulations.

We advise that some darker coloured fabrics are washed (where care instructions allow) prior to sewing / use so that any excess dye that may be present is removed.

Due to the manufacturing process exact shade match between batches cannot be guaranteed. It is advisable to order sufficient material in one go to ensure colour matching.

Some fabrics are in limited quantities and further supplies may not be available so if you need a large amount or an ongoing supply please contact us first to check availability.

Colours shown on the website and samples are indicative only because colours may vary by manufacturing batch.

Please contact us if you require washing or care instructions – Unless advised otherwise it should be assumed fabrics should not be washed, ironed or tumble dried.


Prices

We are a UK based company and all prices are given in £GBP.

Fabric is priced by the metre and sold by the metre. Import Duty may be payable by the customer if fabric is imported into some countries from the UK and this is the responsibility of the customer.


Orders

We aim to accept orders from and deliver to anywhere in the world but this cannot be guaranteed.

We reserve the right to reject any order.

Website

We try to keep the website up to date.

There may be times when we run out of stock of a particular fabric due to unforeseen wastage or human error but the website accepts the order. In these circumstances we will always ask whether you would like a replacement product, to wait for further stock if available or receive a refund.
Customers should retain a copy of the transaction in case of query.

All fabrics are advertised on an 'errors and omissions excepted' basis.

Despatch

We aim to despatch fabric orders received before 2.00pm the same day, except for weekends, public or company holidays however this may not be possible during particularly busy periods.

Samples may take longer because we give priority to fabric orders.
