You have a freephone number, does this work from outside the UK?
It will work, but you will be charged at the usual rate - The same may apply to mobile phones. Don't forget to dial +44 800 5677850.
I have forgotten my password or username, what do I do?
The website will email you your password. We have no access to passwords. We can access your username, just email or phone us and we can tell you what you registered.
There are some fabrics I think might be ok but can I have a sample?
We will always send you a sample of the fabric so you can check colours and the feel of it. We only charge for samples if you want more than 6, if they are sent to an address outside the UK and ROI or if the samples are for educational purposes.
How often do you get new fabrics?
We are finding new fabrics all the time. Check the website to see the new stuff. Register for our newletter and be the first to know.
The website says sold out. Will you be getting any more?
Some fabrics are always available and we are probably just waiting for the delivery. Other fabrics may be discontinued and so we can't get it any more. Please call us.
Do you have a catalogue?
We don't publish a catalogue as it would be out of date immediately. We use the website as our shop and stock catalogue. The website is kept up to date.
How do I order and pay?
You can just click on the fabric you need and follow the checkout procedure. Payment is by credit / debit card or PayPal. You don't need a PayPal account. If you prefer to call us just phone in your order. We can take credit / debit card payments by phone. We don't accept American Express, sorry.
Do you send fabric to America/Australia/etc?
We will send fabric to any country on the planet.
What about postage charges?
We have various options for delivery including first class post, next day guaranteed before 1 p.m. or 3 to 5 day courier in the UK or air mail and courier outside the UK. The charge will depend on the delivery method you choose and the weight of your order.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We try and despatch orders received before 2pm on the same day thoughthis can't always be guaranteed. UK orders sent by post should normally, subject to Royal Mail, be received next day. Delivery to other countries or by courier takes a bit longer. USA and Australia take one to two weeks or occasionally longer.
I need the fabric urgently, is there anything you can do?
Yes. Phone us the order, this is quicker than email. We can arrange next morning guaranteed delivery for the UK and we can courier fabric to other parts of the world.
I have not ordered enough fabric or I have cut out two left sleeves, the website says you are sold out. HELP!
Don't panic, call us. We keep the roll ends of fabric so there might be a bit left.
I'm in America/Australia etc., how much is your fabric in my currency?
We sell fabric in UK pounds per metre. The total cost will be converted to your currency at the checkout. Don't forget that a metre is 39 inches.
Can I have a discount?
We believe we offer value for money and offer excellent service so we don't tend to discount. Occasionally we can give a discount if you buy a full roll of fabric though this will depend on the fabric. This is usually 23 metres but may be more or less depending on the fabric. Please call us if you require a roll.
Can I order less than a metre?
Yes, but not on the website yet. Just call us and we'll be able to do it.
I live outside Europe will have have to pay import tax?
Occasionally large orders will be stopped by customs and import tax / duty applied. This doesn't happen very often and the duty must be paid by the customer before the fabric is released. We can't do anything about this other than warn you, sorry.
Do you have a shop I could visit?
No, sorry, we are an internet business only - We don't have a shop.
